There are in-person merit badge classes offered with the Frederick County Parks and Rec Department, local museums, and even workshop days hosted by another local troop. You can also look into virtual merit badges if that is of interest to you.
When you take on a Merit Badge, you will need to ask your Scoutmaster for approval before beginning. This is so you do not start something that is too advanced for your age or experience. Then you will need to ask Mrs. Best for a list of possible Merit Badge Counselors who can work with you. You can also do the work yourself and meet with your counselor to go over what you did or learned.
